Following up on a previously announced memorandum of understanding, breast imaging software developer Volpara Solutions has finalized a distribution agreement with Dutch women's imaging software developer ScreenPoint Medical.
Under the deal, Volpara will sell ScreenPoint's Transpara mammography artificial intelligence (AI) software to breast imaging clinics in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia, according to Volpara. Transpara received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance in November 2018 for use in screening mammography.
