Royal Philips, the parent company of Philips Healthcare, has signed a multiyear agreement with St. Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital in Sydney, Australia, for its Tasy electronic medical record (EMR).
Tasy EMR is built with HTML 5 as a single, web-based patient administration and EMR platform, according to Philips.
The agreement with St. Andrew's Toowoomba will help Philips expand its EMR business beyond Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and into Australia and New Zealand, the company said.
