Radiation dose management firm Medsquare has been selected to provide radiation dose monitoring software for an e-health initiative in southern France.
The contract is part of the Krypton project to implement a secure medical data sharing project in the region. The main contractor on the project is E-health in Action (ESEA) of New-Aquitaine, France, while the PACS provider is Carestream Health. Carestream has selected Medsquare to provide radiation dose monitoring for the project.
The Krypton project will allow New-Aquitaine clinicians to transmit dose information from individual healthcare facilities to regional centers and access regional patient dose history data.
Medsquare will highlight its partnership with Carestream and the dose tracking package at the upcoming Health-ITExpo during Paris Healthcare Week in Porte de Versailles.
