Swedish PACS vendor Sectra has received an order from the Västernorrland County Council in Sweden to digitize its pathology department.
Västernorrland will store and review approximately 110,000 pathology images per year to enhance cancer care through primary diagnostics and enhanced collaboration between both physicians and medical disciplines.
Digital management of pathology examinations also will improve access and facilitate sharing with other physicians when required.
