Radiation oncology firm Varian Medical Systems has installed its ProBeam cyclotron at the National Centre for Particle Therapy in Aarhus, Denmark.
The cyclotron is part of the vendor's ProBeam system, which will be used in the four-room proton therapy center near Aarhus University Hospital. Patient treatments are expected to begin at the new facility in the second half of 2018, according to Varian.
