The Institute for Radioelements (IRE) ELiT has developed a mobile app for users of its Galli Eo generator, which produces the PET radiopharmaceuticals gallium-68 (Ga-68) and germanium-68 (Ge-68).
Available for free on the iOS and Android platforms, the tablet and smartphone app will provide nuclear medicine practitioners with access to all of the generator's parameters for its entire operating lifetime, including residual activity and the number of elutions carried out, according to IRE ELiT. It can also calculate in real time the activity and yield of the elutions and labeling, as well as track the history of elutions. In addition, users can view the generator's technical documents on the app.
IRE ELiT launched the Galli App at the 22nd International Symposium on Radiopharmaceutical Science in Dresden, Germany.
