Swedish PACS vendor Sectra has completed several installations of its PACS, vendor neutral archive (VNA), and Image Exchange Portal (IEP).
The company installed its PACS and VNA for the German hospital group Gesundheit Nordhessen to handle both radiology and nonradiology images across four hospitals, which service more than 73,000 inpatients and 200,000 outpatients annually.
Sectra also installed its IEP at two acute care hospitals in Wales. Cwm Taf University Health Board and Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board are now able to share patient images and reports digitally.
Sectra IEP currently is used by multiple acute hospitals in Scotland and by U.K. private healthcare providers including the English National Health Service (NHS) acute trusts.
