Omnyx will upgrade pathology network Path Links in the U.K. to its digital pathology system.
Path Links is a National Health Service (NHS) clinical pathology service operating across Lincolnshire, U.K., providing diagnostic services for Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust, United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and 186 general practices across the county.
Path Links will implement the Omnyx Precision Solution by Omnyx, a joint venture of GE Healthcare and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The system digitizes slides of human tissue and features a digital workflow to help pathologists grade cancers, including lung, prostate, and bladder tumors.
