Thanks to gains across all operating segments, Swedish PACS firm Sectra posted a 10.8% increase in net sales for the second quarter of its 2015/2016 fiscal year.
For the period (end-October 31), Sectra had net sales of 264.7 million Swedish kronor (28.6 million euros), up from 239 million Swedish kronor (25.8 million euros) in the same period last year. The company had operating profit of 32.1 million Swedish kronor (3.5 million euros), however, down from 35.5 million Swedish kronor (3.8 million euros) from the same quarter a year ago.
Although operating profit was impacted by large, ongoing installation projects for healthcare customers, these projects will contribute to a stable long-term trend when they enter the operational phase, according to the vendor.
