Swedish radiotherapy technology developer Micropos Medical has installed its RayPilot electromagnetic positioning system at the Centre Georges-Francois Leclerc (CGFL) in France.
The institution will be the first in the world to utilize the new RayPilot Transmitter tool, which provides prostrate tracking as well as an in-situ dosimeter that measures the delivered dose in the prostate, according to Micropos. CGFL will also be the first to use a newly released RayPilot-Varian interface, the company said.
