Agfa HealthCare has won a contract with an Italian clinic for its DX-D 800 digital radiography system.
Istituto Clinico in Reggio Calabria has installed Agfa's device, which produces real-time images for fluoroscopy, general radiography, and direct exposures. The clinic has also installed Agfa's DX-D 30C retrofit, which upgrades its existing computed radiography (CR) with a wireless detector, the company said.
DX-D 800 is not yet available in the U.S. or Canada, according to Agfa.
