p>The Web-based consumer platform is designed to help patients connect with top U.S. physicians in any medical specialty, and it aims to become a crucial player in Russia's broad healthcare reform program with the new site, the company said.Only an estimated 20% of Russia's 142 million inhabitants have access to quality healthcare, and most healthcare facilities are rundown and underfunded, SecondOpinions said. There is also an acute shortage of physicians. SecondOpinions said it is uniquely positioned to meet Russia's healthcare challenges by bringing telemedicine and teleradiology services to the country. Prices for radiology second opinions will range from $49.00 -$99.00 U.S. (36 -73 euros) per report, according to the company.
