Sales growth in its imaging IT solutions business helped PACS firm Sectra to earnings gains in its fourth quarter and 2013/2014 fiscal year.
For the fourth-quarter (end-30 April), Sectra had net sales of 270.6 million Swedish kronor (29.9 million euros), up 9.1% from the 248.1 million Swedish kronor (27.5 million euros) reported in the fourth quarter a year ago. The vendor had profit after tax of 38.1 million Swedish kronor (4.2 million euros), compared with profit after tax of 27.4 million Swedish kronor (3 million euros) last year.
Sectra had net sales of 853.8 million Swedish kronor (94.5 million euros) in 2013/2014, up 4.5% from the 817 million Swedish kronor (90.4 million euros) reported in 2012/2013. Profit after tax climbed from 62.2 million Swedish kronor (6.9 million euros) to 103.9 million Swedish kronor (11.5 million euros).
