Growing sales from the Asian market helped orthopedic digital imaging firm EOS Imaging to a 14% increase in revenue in its first quarter.
For the period (end-31 March), EOS reported 2.2 million euros in sales, up 14% from 1.9 million euros in the first quarter of 2013. The company reported 740,000 euros in revenue from Asia, compared with no revenue from the region a year ago.
First-quarter revenue from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa reached 800,000 euros, compared with 600,000 euros last year. A lengthening of sales cycles contributed to a quarterly drop in North American revenue from 1.3 million euros last year to 610,000 euros.
