Radiation oncology firm DOSIsoft has sold its EPIgray in vivo monitoring system based on electronic portal imaging device (EPID) technology to five medical centers in the U.K.
EPIgray is designed to automatically alert users to dose deviations during treatment and allow for secure and real-time remote access through a Web-based dashboard. The system has received both 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European CE Mark.
Orders came from Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading; Royal Berkshire Clinic in Bracknell; Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge; Imperial College Healthcare-Charing Cross in London; and Hammersmith Hospitals in London.
