DOSIsoft, a Paris-based dosimetry software provider, has released its CE-marked Planet Onco Dose version 3.2.
Planet Onco Dose is a customized, voxel-based, multi-radionuclide dosimetry platform for selective internal radiation therapy and molecular radiotherapy. The latest version is market-approved in the EU under the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) CE mark and in the U.S. with 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
DOSIsoft designed the latest version of Planet Onco Dose to integrate multiple radionuclides, implement varied workflows, and support multiple therapeutic modalities. This allows for clinical centers to address a broader range of therapies by supporting voxel-based dose calculation for the isotopes yttrium-90, lutetium-177, holmium-166, and iodine-131 and can incorporate new beta/gamma emitters, the company said.
It added that these features aim to improve workflows for multiple time-point dosimetry and the new single-point dosimetry. This includes reducing workloads, improving patient comfort, and streamlining clinical processes while maintaining high accuracy.
