German hospital group Diakonische Dienste Hannover (DDH) has announced it will implement Agfa Healthcare's ORBIS Radiology Information System (RIS) and ORBIS Hospital Information System (HIS) solutions to unify its IT infrastructure across five hospital sites.
The five sites currently use three different HIS products, DDH said. Its "One HIS" project aims to unify the IT landscape and optimize collaboration across the centers, helping avoid disruptions, and providing fast, secure online access to patient data, the group said.
The ORBIS products can integrate and adapt to the needs of each center individually, and will be especially helpful in management of data and medical documentation, especially nursing documentation, the DDH said.
