Italian ultrasound vendor Esaote said that Fabrizio Landi has resigned his position as managing director and general manager, effective January 31.
Landi, a 32-year employee of Esaote, will remain a member of the board of directors and an Esaote shareholder.
Esaote will be appointing Carlos Alonso as the new CEO of the Esaote Group. Alonso comes to Esaote after serving recently as managing director of Esteve Pharma, an integrated pharmaceutical firm in Spain. He has also worked for 15 years at the Baxter Group, and before that, was the Spanish Country Manager of Dentsply.
