Fuji PACS, RIS, CR approved for NHS supply chain

Fujifilm's Synapse PACS, RIS, and computed radiography (CR) image plate readers will now be available via the National Health Service (NHS) supply chain, the company said.

The Web-based Synapes PACS provides integrated advanced visualization tools and mammography functionality with XDS natively enabled, and includes improvements in reporting efficiency and accuracy, the company said.

Fujifilm's RIS integrates key hospital information systems including the patient administration system, order communications, PACS, and the national data spine using DICOM, HL7, and XML interface engines, the company said. Its line of CR image plate readers includes multiplate systems and high-resolution readers that improve pediatric and neonatal imaging.

Fujifilm is also authorized to sell workstations, migration, and VNA products and services in combination with its RIS and PACS products, Fujifilm said.
