The BMI Kings Oak and Cavell Hospital in Enfield, London, has opened its new 1.7 million pound (2.1 million euros) imaging department.
The imaging department has a new 64-slice CT scanner (Optima 660, GE Healthcare) and a new open bore MRI scanner (Optima MR450w, GE Healthcare), as well as an upgraded radiography system (Multix Top, Siemens Healthcare), and fully equipped mammography and ultrasound sections.
The investment in the new imaging center was provided by a partnership of BMI Healthcare and British managed imaging services provider Alliance Medical.
