Carestream Health has announced the completed installation of its digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Zakopane, Poland.
The installation includes a Carestream DRX-Evolution DR system with a wireless DRX detector and a single-cassette DirectView Classic CR system, both of which will be located in the Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Department and Clinic of the Jagiellonian University Hospital. The department provides services to approximately 18,000 outpatients and performs approximately one-third of all spinal operations of Poland's residents. The two systems were acquired through the Polish Science and Technology Fund.
