Fujfilm Medical Systems has installed a Profect CS multislot computed radiography (CR) reader at Nuffield Hospital in Ipswich, U.K.
The CR reader is equipped with a stacker accommodating four cassettes at a time. It has the capability of processing up to 165 general radiographic images or up to 80 mammography images per hour, according to the company. It replaces a single-slot CR unit that is being retired.
