Radiopharmaceutical developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has signed a supply agreement with the Henryk Niewodniczanski Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences for its proton therapy center in Krakow.
The agreement for the second phase of development of the proton therapy center is estimated to be between 15 and 20 million euros and includes a gantry treatment room and associated building.
Last year, IBA was awarded the first phase of the project, which included the supply of a cyclotron and associated equipment.
