German PACS developer Visus has completed a multisite enterprise PACS installation for the radprax Group, a German association of medical care centers and radiology, nuclear medicine, and radiotherapy practices.
Eleven facilities, located in Wuppertal, Solingen, Hilden, Düsseldorf, Münster, Arnsberg, and Meschede, are expected to generate 1 TB of data per year from approximately 200,000 examinations performed annually. Bochem-headquartered Visus reported that Silent Cubes by Fast LTA is providing long-term archiving.
JiveX was integrated into the iSOFT RIS and linked to hospital information systems from Systema and Agfa HealthCare that are being used by three of the hospital partners of the radprax Group.
