Carestream Health's Vue Cloud Services are now live at Nij Smellinghe hospital in the Netherlands.
Nij Smellinghe Hospital is the first in the Netherlands to move to an offsite storage and archiving using a software-as-a-service model. The deal with Carestream incorporates Vue Cloud PACS and vendor-neutral Vue Cloud Archiving.
The hospital serves a population of approximately 125,000 in the north of the country. The radiology department currently manages around 85,000 studies annually, a figure that is growing at approximately 5% a year.
