Data-mining software firm Softek Illuminate has made its first international sales of its data-mining software to hospitals in Europe and Australia, the company announced.
The sales agreements were made through Philips Healthcare Global Sales and Service with the Centre Hospitalier Régional Universitaire in Lille, France, and St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
The software is being integrated with existing Philips iSite PACS. Its free-text search capabilities enable users to search by diagnosis or condition, as well as by a desired demographic or a person's name. The software will retrieve desired information within seconds, according to Softek.
