U.K. medical imaging software company Brainomix has secured 16 million pounds (18.8 million euros) in a financing round.
The company plans to use the cash to expand its offerings beyond stroke applications into new indications such as lung fibrosis and cancer, it said.
The funding round was led by existing investors Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund and Parkwalk Advisors, as well as a new investor, Tencent Holdings. It also included participation from Oxford University Innovation Fund.
