Christiane Kuhl: Abbreviated MRI’s almost ready for clinical use

VIENNA – Abbreviated MRI scans taking around five minutes are very nearly ready for clinical implementation, according to top breast imaging researcher Prof. Dr. Christiane Kuhl, PhD.

In a video interview at ECR 2024, she provided an update on the current state of art. Kuhl is director and professor in the department of diagnostic and interventional radiology at University Hospital RWTH Aachen in Germany. She was awarded a gold medal by the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine in 2015, and she was president of the 104th German Congress of Radiology, RöKo 2023. She has been an active member of the AuntMinnieEurope.com editorial advisory board since the launch of the site at ECR 2011.
