ESOR, ESHI hold hybrid imaging course

The European School of Radiology (ESOR) held its first Asklepios Course on Hybrid Imaging in Oncology earlier this month.

The forum, organized by the ESOR and the European Society for Hybrid Medical Imaging (ESHI), welcomed 100 participants from 32 countries to learn about radiology and nuclear medicine.

ESOR and ESHI also invited 12 experts in imaging and nuclear medicine from all over Europe to speak about the role of hybrid imaging in areas ranging from non-small lung cancer to lymphoma, as well as head and neck, prostate, and gynecologic cancers.

The next ESOR course on hybrid imaging will take place at the ESR Learning Centre in Vienna on 29 October.

The ESOR and ESHI plan to schedule two to three courses each year on hybrid imaging beginning in 2017. Online courses will supplement the live classes in between.
