Dutch molecular imaging developer MILabs said it will install MILabs VECTor/CT at Japan's National Institute of Radiological Sciences in Tokyo.
The institute will use its VECTor/CT, which provides simultaneous sub-mm SPECT and PET, to enhance its portfolio of nuclear oncology imaging and research capabilities, MILabs said in a statement.
The equipment will be operated in a variety of multimodal studies to develop a more comprehensive understanding of biological phenomena such as metastasis, response of myocardial infarcts to gene therapy, and heterogeneity in tumor physiology, the company said.
