AI radiology software provider Oxipit has appointed senior health tech executive Peter Corscadden as its CEO. He replaces Gediminas Pekšys, who become the head of AI within the company.
Corscadden has over 20 years of experience in commercial management roles within the healthcare IT industry, from global bluechips to startups. Prior to joining Oxipit in July 2023, he provided commercial support for a range of healthcare IT organizations.
The company said that Corscadden's appointment comes at a time when Oxipit is expanding its outreach worldwide. It has undertaken deployments in several EU countries, as well as the U.S., Brazil, Australia, and the U.K. via University Hospitals Birmingham to run a large-scale evaluation of automated chest x-ray reporting.
