Unilabs signs AI agreement with Oxipit

Diagnostic services provider Unilabs has selected medical imaging firm Oxipit to provide AI tools for chest x-rays throughout the company's network of European offices, with the initial rollout to occur in Portugal.

The selection of Oxipit’s technology was made following a comprehensive evaluation process, Unilabs said in a statement.

Under this agreement, Oxipit’s CE-marked ChestEye and ChestLink products will be integrated into Unilabs’ radiology workflows.

ChestEye is a full workflow medical imaging suite encompassing a fully automatic computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) platform. ChestLink is a fully autonomous AI medical imaging product that identifies chest x-rays without abnormal findings with 99.9% sensitivity and produces finalized patient reports with no radiologist intervention.

The products support 75 of the most common radiological findings, and they streamline and automate chest x-ray review, enabling radiologists to concentrate on cases with pathologies, according to Oxipit.
