Next generation: The remarkable journey of a young radiologist

VIENNA – In her relatively short but fast-moving career as a radiologist, Dr. Viktoria Pozdnyakova has had a wide range of different experiences. She's already worked as a trainee in Norway and as a consultant radiologist in Essex, U.K. During an interview at ECR 2024, she told us about what she's learned along the way.

Pozdnyakova is a committee member of the Radiology Trainees Forum of the European Society of Radiology. She began working as a resident doctor at Stavanger University Hospital in 2015, having previously been a medical intern at Molde Regional Hospital in Hordaland County, Norway. In 2013-2014, she was a scientific researcher at the Norwegian Radium Hospital, Oslo, and guest researcher at Winterthur Kantonspital in Switzerland. She was educated at the Saint-Petersburg State I.P. Pavlov Medical University and Russian Research Center for Radiology and Surgical Technologies.
