The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is partnering with the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) to promote scientific collaboration and exchange between each other.
The two groups recently initiated a memorandum of understanding, which the ESR uses as a basis to improve communication, collaboration, and education in medical imaging. They also help advocate on behalf of radiology stakeholders.
For the collaboration between the ESR and EACR, the two will host joint education activities, including joint sessions at the two's respective annual congresses. At the EACR 2024 annual congress in Rotterdam, the ESR and EACR will hold a joint scientific session on the current state of cancer research and radiology's role in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
