Support is building for the Ukraine Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology, which was established at the recent European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) annual meeting.
The Ukrainian association already has 168 members, and a first committee has been created, following discussions held during the ESSR annual congress in Bilbao, Spain.
"The establishment of our association will help improve diagnostic methods and exchange cutting-edge technologies with our European colleagues. This will enable us to enhance the quality of medical care for patients suffering from muscle and bone disorders," Dr. Nataliia Nehriia told AuntMinnieEurope.com in an email on 3 July.

Gaining access to TMC Academy's educational platform is particularly important for Ukrainians, especially considering the limited access to education and training due to the ongoing war, she noted.
"Ukrainian medical professionals will have the opportunity to further acquire up-to-date knowledge, familiarize themselves with new techniques, and stay abreast of advanced technologies in musculoskeletal radiology," Nehriia said. "This will help us become even better experts and provide high-quality medical assistance to our patients."
Collaborating with all international partner societies is a significant step forward, she added. "I'm thrilled that we're on the path to the development of our society."
