German IT software provider Medavis has released a number of upgrades, including an update of its central software platform for web applications.
Medavis has rebuilt the web application platform, adding a new user interface and improved display and functionality, as well as numerous configuration options, according to the company. The platform also now supports closer integration of the company's portal software applications with each other and with the firm's RIS.
Medavis has also expanded its portal4med patient and referrer portal, incorporating a new patient record. Patients can use a single access ticket to view the history of their own radiological reports and studies online, according to the firm. In addition, the radiology department can issue tickets just for the current case.
