German x-ray developer OR Technology has completed its acquisition of Celtic SMR, a medical technology firm that's based in Pembrokeshire, U.K.
Celtic SMR was founded 30 years ago by Mike Howe and Alan Clarkson and employs 32 people. The company offers medical technology and service to veterinary hospital chains and independent veterinarians, with a focus on imaging technologies like x-ray and ultrasound, as well as maintenance and repair of therapeutic lasers.
The acquisition is a milestone as OR Technology seeks to become a multinational medical technology company, the firm said.
