Affidea has launched Oracle's cloud software for managing human resources information systems (HRIS), a move the company says is meant to accelerate its digital transformation.

The new HRIS system, Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), has been implemented in 319 medical centers across 15 countries, with details handled by Oracle Consulting on a country-by-country basis. The step-by-step concept made it easier for Affidea to establish real ownership of the global HRIS cloud system, the vendor noted.

"We are bolstering our digitalization across the Group with a culture of innovation by bringing in place tech-savvy practices that enhance our way of working," said Justyna Tyborowska, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Affidea Group, in a news release.

The Oracle Cloud HCM platform will provide Affidea with one single source of data related to employees, contractors, and affiliated professionals in terms of skills and qualifications. This will contribute to the creation of subspecialty clinical expertise across the group, clinical services, and expand the company's teleradiology and telehealth services across countries, Affidea said.

Countries where the HRIS system has been implemented include Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ireland.
