The U.K. Society of Radiographers (SoR) has appointed Jonathan McNulty, PhD, as the new editor in chief of its Radiography journal.
McNulty is an associate professor/associate dean for graduate taught studies at the University College Dublin School of Medicine. He also coordinates the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (Graduate Entry) program, according to the SoR.
In addition, he is a university fellow in teaching and academic development. His research interests include healthcare education research, optimization, neuroimaging, and forensic imaging, the society said.
Beginning in the summer, McNulty will shadow current Editor-in-Chief Julie Nightingale, PhD, for six months and then formally take up the three-year position in January 2022, the SoR said.
Radiography is also the official journal of the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS).
