The Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) has announced the results of the election for its board of directors. The society said that 1,133 members voted in the ballot -- the highest participation in the SERAM's history.
Dr. Asunción Torregrosa Andrés has been elected to the vice presidency, while Dr. María ángeles Fernández Gil has been elected as general secretary. Dr. Elena Parlorio de Andrés has been elected as strategic manager.
The voting results for the position of scientific manager have been contested, and the winner will be announced after the challenge has been resolved, according to the SERAM.
