Medical imaging phantom provider Pure Imaging Phantoms has announced a deal selling 15 radiography phantoms to a university hospital in Croatia.
Through the agreement, the company will provide Pure.18 radiography phantoms as well as servicing and training. The unspecified university hospital will use the phantoms to calibrate new x-machines, which it anticipates will perform 200,000 exams per year.
The Pure.18 test phantom can help specialists efficiently evaluate brightness, contrast, circular geometry, and resolution of fluoroscopic systems, according to Pure Imaging Phantoms. The phantoms can also be used for daily image performance analysis, including to check grey-scale, count contrast details, and resolve line patterns.
