The European Board of Radiology (EBR) has announced the launch of its new European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) practice test and an online format for the exam.
The EDiR simulation and webinar consists of a 90-minute online practice test and a webinar that will be held on 17 June from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Central European Time. Only 30 test spots are available, and registration is already open. The cost is 120 euros.
The test will comprise 25 multiple-response questions, eight short cases, and four Clinically Oriented Reasoning Evaluation (CORE) cases. The test will follow a webinar in which an EDiR examiner will provide consultation. The test will be graded, and candidates will receive detailed feedback on their performance by subspecialty.
In other news, online EDiR examinations can now be organized at selected hospitals and learning institutions that meet the venue and technical prerequisites set by the EBR. Also, the new EDiR examination to be held on 16 October in Paris is already fully booked, but the EBR says it is going to offer some more places on 15 October.
