Radioisotope firm Nordion has signed an agreement with Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica (SNN) of Romania to explore the potential commercial production of cobalt-60 at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant.
The two firms will begin working together to establish a new supply of cobalt-60 for the global market, Nordion said.
