Proton Partners to buy RaySearch planning software

Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch Laboratories has reported that Proton Partners International in the U.K. has placed an order for its RayStation treatment planning software.

Proton Partners will integrate RayStation into the Rutherford Cancer Centre network alongside the current treatment planning system. The software includes features such as proton pencil-beam scanning, fallback planning, multicriteria optimization, adaptive planning and 3D, and photon planning for intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT).
