Enterprise imaging provider Insignia Medical Systems has secured a contract with the University of Exeter in the U.K. for a research PACS and vendor-neutral archive.
The Insignia technology will allow the university to share services and data with Royal Devon and Exeter hospitals and other National Health Service (NHS) trusts, and it will be primarily used by the university's students as part of their curriculum, the company said.
