Enterprise imaging provider Insignia Medical Systems and connected healthcare specialist Wellbeing announced that 17 hospital groups from the southwest of England have signed a deal that facilitates the use of the companies' image reporting and sharing systems.
The hospitals chose the firms for Wellbeing's Cris Connect and Insignia's Regional Image Sharing Platform (RISP). The software will be installed in three phases, which began in March 2021. The first installations are occurring at Royal United Hospitals Bath National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
