Axial3D partners with Swiss hospital on 3D printing

University Hospital Basel in Switzerland announced it will integrate 3D printing firm Axial3D's cloud-based management software, axial3Dassure, into the hospital's medical 3D printing lab.

Axial3Dassure allows users to manage and streamline the 3D printing workflow through quality control, communication, and tracking features. The software also includes an orthopedic autosegmentation software module designed to reduce preproduction time for making 3D-printed models.
