Carestream Health has been awarded a supply contract from University Hospitals Birmingham National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust in the U.K. for a range of image distribution and workflow products.
The contract covers the group's four main hospitals and will include access to the Carestream's Clinical Collaboration Platform. The vendor-neutral archive is designed to consolidate, manage, and share images across the healthcare enterprise.
In addition, the group's sites will have access to Carestream's Vue PACS, which features Vue Reporting; the new Workflow Orchestrator tool to direct imaging exams to the appropriate clinical subspecialists; the Vue Beyond business intelligence and reporting dashboard; and the web-based Vue Explorer portal, which provides a consolidated patient portfolio view from multiple data sources.
