Fujifilm Medical Systems has completed a series of continual professional development (CPD) presentations to more than 300 radiologists in the U.K.
Over the course of six weeks in October and November, Fujifilm representatives conducted 24 sessions at 12 hospitals between Portsmouth and Inverness. The CPD Now presentation on digital imaging covered the history of imaging from the origins of x-ray through innovations in computed and digital radiography to the new generation of digital technology and advances in artificial intelligence, anatomy recognition, and the company's Virtual Grid scatter removal.
The company plans to conduct more CPD Now sessions in 2019. Applications are being taken from hospitals that would like to participate.
