The Carol Davila Emergency Military Hospital in Bucharest has opened an integrated center for nuclear medicine -- the first of its kind in Romania, according to an article at Romania-Insider.com.
Clinicians at the center now have access to equipment for diagnosing oncological, cardiovascular, and neurological diseases using nuclear medicine, the report noted. The hospital developed the center with support from the Romanian Ministry of National Defense and an investment of more than 4.3 million euros.
